In food safety, surfaces, equipment, and packaging materials that are in contact with food in all processes are as important as the raw materials, processing and storage of food. It may interfere with all surfaces that food comes in contact with, and some unwanted substances may pass to food. All substances and materials that come into contact are at least as important as food. A food can be produced from high quality and safe raw materials with all hygienic conditions. However, it is not possible to reach safe food if the food contact substance is not selected properly during these processes and during storage. Therefore, we should be aware of its importance and this topic is one of the keys to reach safe food.
